The role of the Equal Pay Office is to support municipalities in fulfilling the equal pay provisions of the Equality Act, including through advice.
Advice on job evaluation is provided through the Job Evaluation Project Office. It includes advice on job evaluation, re-evaluation, provisional classification and related procedures. The Equal Pay Office also provides municipalities with other advice in the field of equal pay, including in connection with the implementation of equal pay certification.
In addition, the Equal Pay Office provides advice on equal pay issues to employers other than municipalities for a fee.
